Day 1: Prep Work, Testing & Basecoats
- Concrete profiling (CSP 1–3) using Husqvarna planetary floor grinders, HEPA dust extractors, and scarifiers.
- Identifying and treating cracks, spalls, and divots using rapid repair materials.
- Moisture testing (Calcium Chloride & Relative Humidity) to protect against osmotic blistering.
- Mixing, tinting, and flawless application of 100% solids epoxy basecoats.
Day 2: Broadcast Systems, Stone Coatings, Topcoats & Business Strategy
- Full broadcast flake rejection techniques and scraping for uniform smoothness.
- Stone coating applicator techniques and cementitious stone overlay installs.
- Introduction to multi-dimensional metallic pigments and creative flow manipulation.
- Applying chemical-resistant, UV-stable Polyaspartic and Polyurethane topcoats.
- Bonus Business Module: Material estimations, profit margins, and lead generation frameworks.
Poured In
Class
Metallic epoxy sample boards poured on the shop floor with Reflector Enhancer metallic pigments. Students mix, pour, and manipulate their own boards, so you learn how pigment load, flow, and timing change the finish before you ever run a metallic floor for a client.
